Between October 2023 and October 2024, Teemway Group held a memorandum of understanding covering interest in BYD Energy Storage System (ESS) and EV charger products, together with indicative demand planning extending to 2026. The MOU ran for a 12-month term and expired in October 2024. It is not currently active.

Teemway Group is not currently an authorized BYD distributor, holds no written territorial or product exclusivity, and has no authorization to use BYD's name or logo for promotional purposes. No BYD trademarks or logos appear on this site.
The memorandum of understanding was an early-stage, non-binding framework document of a type common in new-energy distribution discussions. Its content was limited to:
The MOU did not grant distribution rights, territorial exclusivity, product-line exclusivity, pricing commitments or any right to represent BYD commercially.
The commercial logic behind the exploration remains relevant to the group's strategy, independent of any single counterparty:
Many of our brand and retail customers are deploying corporate sustainability programmes that include on-site battery storage and EV charging infrastructure. Our existing relationships and our Rancho Cucamonga presence in California make the group a plausible conduit for those categories.
Teemway Philippines Inc. is developing solar photovoltaic project pipelines. Battery storage integrates directly with PV, which would allow the group to offer complete solar-plus-storage propositions in Southeast Asia.
New-energy distribution offers revenue diversification away from cyclical promotional-products demand.
Teemway Group continues to evaluate new-energy distribution opportunities, and the Teemway Philippines green energy division continues its solar photovoltaic work. Any future distribution arrangement will be published here only once executed, with its scope, term and territory stated explicitly.
